What can be said about 2020 that has not already been said?
As with so many other Companies we supported the National effort to Manage the Covid-19 Pandemic with the supply of “Bespoke Components” into Key Industry sectors.
Even though we had our own personal battles with the virus!
As a Company we did not rest on our laurels and used the spare time when it came along to our advantage.
Here is time-line of event from during 2020 into 2021 for Ashcroft Components;
• March. Took possession of our new premises at Wall End Close, Bloxwich, Walsall
• April. Purpose built offices installed.
• May – Aug. Investment in our Warehouse and Distribution infrastructure with new vehicles in our fleet. Increased Capacity and Capability within our QC Dept with new state of the art imagery hardware and software.
• August. ISO9001:2015 Accreditation achieved (SGS System certification).
• September. Further investment with the acquisition of the “E-MAX (MRP)” Business Management System.
• October. Steve Jones joined the Company as Technical Sales Manager.
• Jan 2021. WON New 3 year Contract for FIFO – VMI supplied components.
As we approach the end of the 1st quarter 2021 we are pleased and excited to be in discussions with several high profile O.E.M Companies for individual projects and full Vendor Managed Inventory Packages.
These discussions involve our Key Competences including : Application Engineering, Design and Prototype Assistance, Bespoke Component Supply, Standard Fastener Management and other Value Added Services available from Ashcroft Components Limited such as our in house Assembly and Kitting Capability.
